It’s true, we love dogs (cats too), but we don’t love dog poo! Yes, we’re an animal-loving community! We adore your four-legged companions and welcome them as part of The Woodlands family. But what we don’t love? Dog poop left behind on shared grounds.
If you’re the proud guardian of a furry friend, please be sure to carry poop bags and clean up after your pet every time. While it might feel harmless on a quick walk through nature, our community is a closed, single-street neighborhood without sidewalks, which means we’re all sharing the grassy areas. Those grassy areas are shared by all of us, including your neighbors, kids playing outside, and other dog-walkers.
Leaving pet waste behind is not only unsightly—it’s unsanitary and potentially harmful to our landscaping and water runoff. And let’s be honest—no one wants to step in a mess on their morning walk.
We’ve also seen a noticeable increase in families with young children in our community, which makes it even more important to keep our shared spaces clean and safe for everyone.
Please do your part to be a responsible and respectful neighbor. A quick clean-up goes a long way in keeping our community beautiful, enjoyable, and welcoming for all. Remember, this also applies to the golf course; be respectful of your neighbors.
