The Woodlands – 2026 Paint Project
Tentative Timeline

  1. November 13, 2025: Vendor Selection (COMPLETED – Blue Wave)
  1. December 11, 2025 – HOA Meeting:  Color Choice Selection (COMPLETED – 2 Choices)
  1. By December 15th: Send out initial pricing details and payment option commitments  (COMPLETED)
  1. January 5, 2026: “Before” drone photoshoot. (COMPLETED)
  1. January 7, 2026: HOA must obtain formal DCIA approval on paint choices. (COMPLETED)
  1. By January 31st: Community Vote on color (COMPLETED)
  1. By February 15, 2026: (COMPLETED)
    1. Owners must select whether to use Blue Wave or paint themselves
    2. Payment in full must be collected for those who select Blue Wave.
  1. February 20, 2026:  Logistics Walkthrough
  1. February 27, 2026: Community-wide landscaping trim.
  1. February 2026 (Exact Date TBD): Bluewave – PrePaint Inspections
  1. By February 28, 2026: Final community preparations for paint project commencement
    1. Owners must remove exterior décor and protect any precious belongings.
    2. Landscapers will need to trim any flora within 1.5 feet of houses and fences to allow the painter access.
    3. Final communications to residents regarding the commencement of the paint project.
  1. March 2026: Blue Wave Paint commencement.

By June 30, 2026: All owners who elected to paint themselves must have their properties completed.
